Prof. Dr. Wei Li
Wei Li is a Professor at the Changchun Institute of Optics, Fine Mechanics and Physics (CIOMP), Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), where he also serves as Director of the GPL Photonics Laboratory and Deputy Director of CIOMP Academic Committee, as well as Deputy Head of State Key Laboratory of Luminescence Science and Technology. He has been recognized as an Optica Fellow, IOP Fellow, MIT Technology Review Innovators Under 35 (TR35 Asia Pacific), PI of National Natural Science Foundation of China Young Scientist Fund -Type A (the former National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars), the recipient of Xplorer Prize and the outstanding advisor of CAS. His research focuses on thermal photonics, nanophotonics, light-matter interactions, and their applications in next-generation energy and information technologies. His work has been published in peer-reviewed journals including Nature and Science. He has presided over various projects, including the Key Program of the National Natural Science Foundation of China. He also serves as a member of the Optica Award and Honors Committees, the Associate Editor for npj Nanophotonics, SPIE Spotlight, and Guest Editor for Nanophotonics.
