Congratulations to the Researchers of CIOMP and Peking University for Their Joint Publication!

The researchers from Changchun Institute of Optics, Fine Mechanics and Physics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and Peking University have developed a new technique for upgrading the quality of topological insulator bismuth films for use in ultra-broadband photodetectors. This paper, entitled “Femtosecond laser upgrading the quality of bismuth films to enhance ultra-broadband photodetection”, was published in Optics Express.

Recently, the Deputy Executive Director and Chief Publishing Officer of OPTICA PUBLISHING GROUP, Elizabeth Nolan, emailed a congratulatory letter on the paper being covered by several major media outlets, most notably PHYS.org. “The media coverage related to this article has a potential audience reach of at least 4.628 million worldwide.,” the letter added. It shows that this research result has been widely and highly concerned in the world.
