Assist. Prof. Dr. Waqar Ahmad
Dr. Ahmad earned his PhD in Condensed Matter Physics from Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST), China, in 2016. Following his doctoral studies, he pursued postdoctoral research at the Wuhan National Laboratory for Optoelectronics, HUST (2016-2018). He has previously led the Department of Physics at the University of Sialkot, Pakistan. Dr. Ahmad has published 25 peer-reviewed articles in prestigious journals such as Advanced Materials, Journal of Power Sources, Journal of Materials Chemistry A, Nano-Micro Letters, Solar RRL, and others. Currently, he is a PIFI Visiting Scientist at the GPL Photonics Laboratory, Changchun Institute of Optics, Fine Mechanics, and Physics, China. His research is centered on advanced materials, including perovskites, quantum dots, and functional materials for photovoltaic and radiative cooling applications.
